It was great to get experience working in an engineering atmosphere and see the type of problems they face daily and I got a lot of good experience working with electrical CAD software and blueprints.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had been able to get some hands on electrical work on the machine assembly floor like the mechanical engineering interns were able to do during their internship.
Advice
It is a great company to work for, just be prepared to spend the majority of your time at a desk on CAD software.

Accounting Intern
May - August 2019 • West Monroe, LA
What I liked
I processed invoices in SAP for the Accounts Payable department of an average of 40 of Graphic Packaging’s mill locations nationwide. Worked closely with the vendors as well as requisitioners and mill contacts. When assigned the daily audit and credit audit, I found I loved the process of auditing, and discovered a large discrepancy that led to investigation to clear up the records.
What I wish was different
Workflow process was inconsistent and frustrating at times. I would work an invoice only to find a missing piece and not receive it back from workflow for months.
Advice
Do not settle with the work given. Strive for more, ask for projects, help others with their own.
