Camp Counselor

June 2019 • Amery, WI

What I liked

This experience has always been so wonderful to me. I started out as a camper just afraid for what was happening to my family and now I was on an island with lots of other strangers. But soon those strangers became family because I got to know them and their family struggles with MS. I didn’t feel alone, it helped me mature, I felt like I belonged somewhere and I’ve been going back every summer since 2011

What I wish was different

Absolutely nothing.

Advice

You need to like kids and understand the disease of MS.
