About KAI’s Promise Co.:
KAI's Promise Co. is a community-driven organization dedicated to creating sensory-friendly events for neurodivergent individuals and families across Metro Atlanta. We believe in inclusive, joyful, and accessible experiences where everyone feels welcome and celebrated.
We are currently seeking a Marketing/Event Coordinator Intern to support our two major upcoming events in Octoberand December 2025. This is a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit event planning, community outreach, and inclusive marketing.
Intern Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, organizing, and executing two large-scale sensory-friendly events in October and December.
Help manage event logistics including vendor communication, scheduling, and volunteer coordination.
Support marketing efforts, including content creation for social media, email newsletters, and event flyers.
Assist with community outreach to local partners, sponsors, and schools.
Maintain and update event checklists, timelines, and databases.
Attend planning meetings (virtual and/or in-person) and provide input on accessibility and inclusion strategies.
Support day-of event setup, coordination, and breakdown.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong interest in community engagement, event planning, and inclusive design.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and Canva or similar design tools is a plus.
Compassionate and understanding approach to working with neurodivergent individuals and families.
Reliable transportation for on-site event support.
