GOAT Summer Guide

Each summer GOAT, partners with like-minded organizations and offers to take hundreds of middle and high school students from around Greenville, SC on outdoor adventures! For GOAT to serve these students, we hire college-aged leaders to come alongside our staff and guide trips!

Although we love the outdoors over the years, we've learned that less can be more. We regularly find ourselves mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and paddleboarding! One of the things that makes GOAT a unique outdoor experience for potential guides is that applicants do not have to be experts on all things outdoors. We equip and train every guide who leads our trips to become proficient in the skills that make our summer program possible! From Wilderness First Aid to shredding on a mountain bike.

The most important thing for potential GOAT Summer Guides is a heart for Christ and a desire to see students reach their full potential through their God-given identity.
