Position Type: Federal Work Study Only 


 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • A student manager in basketball supports the team and coaches by handling logistics, equipment, and operations during practices and games, freeing the coach to focus on coaching. 
  • Key duties include practice and game setup, managing equipment, assisting with statistical and video tasks, and sometimes performing administrative duties, all while upholding the team's standards and adhering to university and NCAA regulations.

 

Requirements

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a current or incoming full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours per semester).
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Must follow all University, NCAA, and team rules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of basketball.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and assist in basketball drills.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Varies.
