Assistant, Facility Operations

Position Type: Federal Work Study or Non-Work Study 


 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • This is a general Laborer position. 
  • The position will be mainly working outdoors on campus grounds. 
  • You may work independently at times or assist the Facility Operations team members. 
  • Tasks include pulling trash, tending flower beds, snow removal, moving furniture and other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to follow direction, work with others as well as independently. Like to work outdoors.
  • Landscape maintenance and snow removal experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • The ability to operate UTV, golf carts, tractors. Operate small hand tools; gas powered and battery. 
  • Some computer skills, self-motivated.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • A valid Driver's License is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, and repetitive bending.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 3:30pm.
