Random Acts of Flowers improves the emotional health and well-being of individuals in healthcare facilities by delivering recycled flowers, encouragement, and personal moments of kindness.

Our volunteers transform donated flowers into stunning arrangements that brighten lives every single day.
About You
You're creative, upbeat, and know how to tell a story that makes people stop scrolling. You love creating content that connects with people's hearts, and you're not afraid to be playful and authentic. You see the magic in a bouquet of flowers and know how to capture that magic for social media.
What You'll Do
Content Creation & Design
- Design eye-catching, scroll-stopping social media posts that showcase our mission and impact
- Create graphics, reels, stories, and videos that are engaging and on-brand
- Capture the beauty and emotion of our work through compelling visuals and copy
- Experiment with trends, sounds, and formats to keep our content fresh and playful
Strategy & Planning
- Develop a social media content calendar that tells our story consistently
- Plan campaigns around giving days, volunteer recruitment, and awareness events
- Brainstorm creative ways to showcase our volunteers, donors, and flower recipients
- Balance educational content, storytelling, and calls-to-action
Community Engagement
- Help grow our online community with authentic, warm interactions
- Monitor comments and messages, responding in our friendly, hopeful voice
- Identify opportunities to connect with followers and turn them into volunteers or donors
Impact Tracking
- Track what's working (and what's not) to refine our approach
- Share insights and recommendations with the team
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
- Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
- Excellent writing skills with a warm, conversational tone
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Creative, playful spirit with attention to detail
- Passion for nonprofit work and making a difference
Bonus Points:
- Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, iMovie, etc.)
- Photography experience
- Previous nonprofit or cause-marketing experience
- Knowledge of social media analytics and insights

Time Commitment
10-15 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Some occasional evening or weekend work for events.
