Intern – Tax & Accounting

Location: Millsboro, Delaware
Position Type: Part Time-10-15 hours/week

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Intern pursuing a degree in Accounting, with aspirations to become an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant. This is a part-time opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation, payroll, and bookkeeping in a supportive and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in payroll processing and tax filings.
• Prepare tax returns across multiple entity types.
• Collaborate with a supportive team during tax season and beyond.
• Maintain professional conduct and uphold strong ethical standards in office setting.
• Prepare bookkeeping entries: accounts payable/receivable, deposits, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable in Microsoft Office Suite.
• QuickBooks and ProSeries experience is helpful, but not required—training provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Info:

• Tax season runs from January 2nd through Tax Day, including Saturdays (February to April 15th).
