Senior Caregiver

We service the Chicagoland area, in both the outside community and as an onsite provider in select Senior Living Communities. We welcome anyone looking to gain experience in helping the elderly live as independently as they can while being a friendly companion. Duties include, but are not limited to; assistance with bathing, dressing, laundry, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, etc. We strive for excellence in care and look to hire those that have a heart for kindness and compassion. 

Looking for any full time, part time, seasonal candidates. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, AND $100 referral bonuses.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
  • Assist with medication reminders as prescribed and monitor client health for any changes or concerns.
  • Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments by employing appropriate care techniques.
  • Assist clients with mobility challenges, including transferring them safely from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure confidentiality while providing care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop personalized care plans.

Experience
Ideal candidates will possess experience in the following areas: 

  • 2+ years of hands-on care with seniors
  • Dementia care
  • Knowledge in using mobility aids (gait belts, walkers, Hoyer Lift)

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
