Description
The Learning & Development Intern will be a key player on the Learning & Development team to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of firmwide learning initiatives. This paid internship will run from May to August 2026 with potential for part-time during the school year. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to training, curriculum development, and learning management systems within a professional services environment that directly impact employee growth and firm performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented, creative emerging professional who is passionate about training and development.
*This position can be based at any of the following office locations: Oshkosh, Wausau, Stevens Point, or Appleton
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Training Specialist to support service lines in the design, development, and implementation of professional training programs.
- Assist with scheduling, organizing, and coordinating training session logistics including enrollment, program development, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
- Partner with Training Specialist and subject matter experts (SMEs) to update and modernize existing learning materials.
- Evaluate overall training practices to assess impact and effectiveness of programs.
- Provide technical support to team members using LMS and virtual training tools.
- Maintain and update LMS, including content management, reporting, training programs, recordings, e-learning resources, learning plans, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with other Learning & Development and firmwide learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in business, human resources, communication, marketing, or other related field
- Interest in learning, talent development, and people strategy
- Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel; LMS or HRIS experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with team members across all levels
