Camp Counselor
COUNSELORS: (Minimum, one year of college or equivalent – one year out of high school) Counselors serve both on-site and day camp throughout the summer. The majority of counselors’ time is on-site. On-site responsibilities include living with and assuming the leadership of a small group of campers. Day Camp includes travel to congregations within the Rocky Mountain Synod, stay with host families, and work with elementary age children in small and large group settings. Energy, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, creativity, the ability to communicate and a willingness to share your personal faith are extremely important. May have the opportunity to be a backpack counselor or travel with a Bridging Borders trip for one week if desired.
