Software Engineering Intern

Attention aspiring engineers!

Accretech SBS, Inc. is seeking a summer Software Engineering intern. As a local company that designs and manufactures industrial grinding accessories, we need your skills.

We are currently looking for a software intern to help with day-to-day tasks and build tools to make our workflows more efficient. You will also be working on both low- and high-level software development throughout your internship. During your internship, you will also work on individual projects that interest you and offer excellent learning opportunities.

We don't expect you to be an expert engineer yet, but we're looking for interns with a passion for engineering and a willingness to learn. The following list of skills is not exhaustive, but it will be useful to highlight in your application:

Software:

Proficient in git
Knowledge of data structures
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Depending on where your interest lies:

C/C++ proficiency (low-level/embedded development)
Python proficiency (test automation/internal tooling)
JavaScript/PHP proficiency (internal website development)
Qt/QML proficiency
Data-oriented design
Linux OS

As an intern at Accretech SBS, Inc., you will use professional software suites such as Git, Qt, GTest, Yocto, and others. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, work on exciting projects, and develop your engineering skills.
