The Opportunity

2026 Summer Internship- People & Culture Intern

Atlanta, Georgia | Onsite | Full-Time, Temporary | Non-Exempt | $20/hr

We are looking for a people-oriented, hardworking People & Culture Intern to join us for the summer of 2026. This is a real HR experience, not a shadowing role. You will be working directly alongside our team on active projects that matter to the business and the people in it.

From your first day, you will be immersed in the full spectrum of HR work, including:

  • Recruiting and Talent Acquisition: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and participating directly in interviews
  • Recruitment Marketing: helping craft job postings, employer brand content, and outreach that attracts great candidates
  • Employee Engagement: contributing to programs and initiatives that keep our team connected and motivated
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: gaining exposure to onboarding, offboarding, and everything in between
  • Employee File Audit: supporting an internal audit of employee records for completeness and compliance
  • Event Planning: taking an active role in planning our annual summer employee engagement event, one of the highlights of the year
  • General HR Support: pitching in across other HR functions as the team needs

You will work directly with department staff and leadership across the company, so you need to be confident, personable, and ready to engage. Past interns have gone on to part-time co-op arrangements during the school year, and some have been offered full-time positions upon graduation.

What Every 2MNEXT Intern Experiences

  • Real assignments with real impact from day one
  • Direct collaboration with senior staff who are invested in your growth
  • Exposure to the business side of running a professional engineering firm
  • Company-paid social outings with your intern cohort and company leadership
  • A capstone presentation to company leadership at the end of the program

Who We're Looking For

  • A natural with people - warm, confident, and not afraid to jump into a conversation with a candidate or a senior leader
  • Comfortable participating in interviews, phone screens, and direct interactions with staff at all levels
  • Detail-oriented and organized, especially when it comes to managing sensitive employee information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to take on whatever comes their way
  • In possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
