About Luau
Luau is a Birmingham-based startup helping students run better events and build real-world communities.
Our platform makes it easy to create AI-generated invite pages, track RSVPs, and manage campus gatherings. Luau also includes PartyPass™ tap-to-invite, which lets people join events instantly with a simple tap.
Instead of messy group chats, screenshots, and guesswork, Luau gives organizers a simple system to run events the right way.
What You'll Do
As a Luau Ambassador, you'll help bring the platform to your campus and shape how events are organized.
You will:
- Introduce Luau to fraternities, sororities, clubs, and campus organizations
- Help social chairs run safer, more organized events with Luau
- Demo PartyPass™ tap-to-invite and AI invite pages
- Help onboard organizations hosting events
- Gather feedback from students to help shape the product
- Spread Luau through your campus network
Why This Role Matters
Greek life and student organizations host hundreds of events every semester, but most still rely on:
- Group chat chaos
- Screenshots of invites
- Forwarded links
- Guessing who's coming
- Luau fixes that by:
- Keeping event details private (not all over Instagram or GroupMe)
- Helping chapters meet risk-management and attendee tracking requirements
- Improving safety and accountability
- Making social chairs look like rockstars when they run events
What You Get
- Real startup experience (great on a résumé)
- Direct access to the founder and product team
- Founding Ambassador title
- Luau merch and PartyPass kits for events
- Bonuses tied to organization adoption
- Optional recommendation letter
- Light time commitment with no busywork
Ideal Candidates
This role is perfect for students who are:
- Social Chairs or PR Chairs in fraternities or sororities
- Active in clubs or campus organizations
- Marketing, communications, or business majors
- Natural connectors who enjoy bringing people together
- Curious about startups, tech, and entrepreneurship
