Project Engineer
We are seeking an entry‑level Project Engineer to join our Hammonton, NJ office. This role is ideal for recent or upcoming Civil Engineering graduates or individuals early in their engineering career who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in a design‑build environment.
As a Project Engineer, you will support engineering and construction projects while working closely with experienced Project Managers and Engineers. This position offers a strong foundation for professional growth, mentorship, and development toward FE/PE licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering design and project documentation in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Support preparation of project drawings, specifications, scopes of work, material selection, and cost estimates
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD tools to support project design requirements
- Participate in field activities including construction inspections, site visits, material testing, surveys, and project meetings
- Collaborate with project teams to support schedules, coordination, and project execution
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies and promote a strong safety culture
- Provide general project support to Project Managers and Engineers as needed
Fieldwork is expected to account for approximately 10–25% of the role, depending on project needs.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Civil or Mechanical preferred) (completed or expected May/June 2026)
- Interest in pursuing FE and/or PE licensure (PMP certification is a plus)
- Coursework or exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications
- Willingness to learn CAD, GIS, and other engineering software
