Home Caregiver
**We are growing as a company and are hiring caregivers for when we obtain new clients within the next 30-60 days. **
Rooted Home Safety Services is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to individuals in their homes. This role is ideal for college students pursuing careers in healthcare, social work, psychology, or related fields who are looking for meaningful, hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including dressing, meal preparation, and hygiene support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with safe mobility and transfers as needed
- Support client independence while following established care plans
- Observe and report any changes in condition or environment
Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Respectful of client dignity, privacy, and personal space
- Comfortable working in a home-based setting
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive in varying situations
- Must be 18+
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with personal or academic experience in care-related fields are encouraged to apply.
