Marketing Intern

Location: Hybrid / In person at Mint Printworks, 125 Northeastern Blvd., Nashua, NH min 10 hours a week
Type: Internship (Part-Time, 15-20 hours per week)
Duration: 10-12 weeks 
Compensation: Paid Internship | $18 per hour

Position Overview

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Intern. This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, stays on top of digital trends, and is excited to gain hands-on experience across social media, content creation, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Monitor engagement and track performance metrics
  • Stay current on trends and recommend new ideas to increase reach and engagement
  • Create, monitor, and report on social media ad campaigns.

Content Research & Creation

  • Research industry trends, competitors, and audience insights
  • Help develop creative content including captions, graphics, and short-form video concepts
  • Create blog posts using content from newsletters
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar

Brand Management

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and visual identity
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Support the planning and rollout of marketing and communication campaigns
  • Coordinate assets, timelines, and messaging across platforms
  • Assist with campaign reporting and analysis

E-Newsletter Development

  • Draft and design email newsletters using Constant Contact
  • Collaborate on content ideas and layout design
  • Track performance metrics like open and click-through rates
  • Experiment with A/B testing to increase engagment

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Bonus Skills (nice to have but not a deal-breaker)

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
  • Basic analytics knowledge (social insights, Google Analytics)
  • Photography or video editing skills
