GTM Strategy Intern
We are seeking a high-impact GTM Strategy Intern. This role isn't about sitting on the sidelines; it’s about growth. You will help us find new customers, prove value to existing ones, and ensure our product is built for the next generation.
The breakdown of the day-to-day may change, but we envision it looking something like this:
Customer Success: Value Strategy (50%)
- The ROI Storyteller: Help us simplify how we prove value. You'll work with our CSMs to create strategic frameworks that help our teams show clients exactly how our platform impacts their bottom line
- Client Insights & Benchmarking: Aggregate and analyze data across our client base to establish "what good looks like" for engagement and retention across different industries like tech and finance
- Retention Engine: You'll ensure our current customers aren't just using the tool, but working with CSMs to support analysis and insights on tangible ROI that leads to renewals and expansion
Sales & Marketing: Growth & Brand (30%)
- Outreach & Prospecting: Partner with Parker to identify and reach out to potential world-class clients. You’ll help research targets, draft outreach sequences, and identify the best "hooks" to get us in the room with early career and HR leaders
- Brand Ambassador: We want our marketing to be authentic. You will be a key face of Abode, appearing in content, social campaigns, and webinars to share the intern perspective and the "Abode journey”
- Campaign Ideation: Help us brainstorm content that actually lands with Gen Z talent—ensuring our voice remains the one people actually want to listen to
Product Strategy: Platform Feedback (20%)
- The User Advocate: As a student or recent grad, you are our target user. You will provide critical, candid feedback on our platforms to Evan, helping shape a roadmap that actually resonates with your peers
- Usage Analysis: Look at how people are moving through our platforms to identify where we can make the experience simpler, faster, or more engaging
👩💻 Qualifications
- You are currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field)
- You are proficient in Excel or Google Sheets. You don’t need to be a data scientist, but you should be comfortable organizing numbers to tell a clear, visual story about value and ROI
- You can shift your tone easily: from writing a professional, high-stakes email to a Fortune 500 executive to drafting a punchy, Gen-Z-friendly LinkedIn post or sales sequence
- You thrive in environments with "just enough" structure. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can find the answers you need through curiosity and persistence
- You have a genuine interest in the Future of Work and HR Tech. You aren't just looking for a line on a resume; you want to help build a product that you and your friends would actually want to use
- You are available for a full-time summer internship (10–12 weeks) and are open to the possibility of continuing part-time during the school year
🏆 Perks & Professional Growth
-
Competitive Monthly Stipend: This is a paid summer internship, with flexible date(s) and duration (10 or 12-weeks preferred); we are also open to extending this into a part time role with successful completion at the end of the summer
- Abode and 10KC determine starting pay based on several factors, including a candidate's skills, experience, and location. The expected stipend range for this role is $2,500 – $4,000 per month
- High-Level Exposure: Frequent touchpoints with our CEO and CPTO; you aren't just a number, you're a strategic voice in a post-merger integration
- Portfolio Impact: You will finish the summer with a tangible "Value Realization Toolkit" that will be used by our team to support Fortune 500 clients
- Remote-First Flexibility: Work from wherever you are most productive
Our success hinges on hiring great people and creating an environment where we can be happy, feel challenged, and do our best work. We’re being deliberate about building that environment from the ground up. I hope that excites you enough to apply.
