Position Type: Federal Work Study Only

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a content creator, you will develop social media posts for Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter). 
  • These posts will be featured on the social media platforms for Detroit Mercy Admissions (@GoDetroitMercy). 
  • Employees will take photos at campus events, stage photoshoots, record videos and create designs using Canva or a similar platform. 
  • This position is asynchronous and remote, so content creators must be self-motivated and able to successfully work on a flexible schedule.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience posting on various social media platforms and strong writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design experience using Canva.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • Asynchronous and remote.
