Sales & Marketing Associate – SaaS & Microsoft Solutions Location: Western Pennsylvania (Hybrid/Flexible) Travel: Occasional regional travel for events, networking, and conferences
About Us
We're a software company based in western Pennsylvania (about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh) that builds business software used by organizations around the world. Our flagship SaaS product, Incident Tracker, is active in 30+ countries with hundreds of subscriptions and tens of thousands of users. We also consult and build on Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, and Copilot for clients ranging from small teams to large enterprises like Westinghouse, Maximus, and PNC Bank.
We're a small, tight-knit team — and we're hiring our first dedicated Sales & Marketing person. That's a big deal. You'll have real visibility, real responsibility, and a direct line to company leadership from day one.
What This Role Is
This is a growth role, not a grind role. You won't be thrown into cold calls on day one. Instead, you'll spend your first 3–6 months learning our products, customers, and sales approach alongside our leadership team — then gradually take on more outward-facing responsibilities as your confidence builds.
Long-term, this role is designed to grow into senior sales or regional sales management as the company scales.
What You'll Do
Early on:
- Reach out to existing customers to check in, gather feedback, and build relationships
- Manage and grow our LinkedIn presence and other social channels
- Help maintain our listings on software marketplaces and procurement portals (like Microsoft AppSource, GSA, PEPPM)
- Support marketing campaigns and digital advertising (Google Ads, Capterra)
Over time:
- Identify and develop new leads for Incident Tracker and our Microsoft consulting services
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Take ownership of our presence in enterprise and public-sector procurement processes
- Help shape sales messaging, campaigns, and go-to-market strategy
You'd Be a Great Fit If You...
- Have a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, IT, or something related (or equivalent experience)
- Communicate clearly and confidently — in writing and in person
- Are organized, self-motivated, and genuinely curious about technology
- Like the idea of growing with a small company rather than being a small piece of a big one
Bonus points for:
- Any internship or experience in sales, marketing, or customer success
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Power Platform
- Experience with social media management or CRM tools
Compensation & Benefits
- 💰 $45,000 – $60,000 base salary (based on experience)
