CNC Machining Technician
This individual will be responsible for the set-up and machining of a variety of plastics and rubber for the fluid power industry. The machining technician pulls the appropriate material, sets ups shop orders, runs production and inspects parts per order. Responsibilities:
- Perfect for machine school graduates.
- Set up and operate a CNC Lathe to produce products according to shop order and print specifications.
- Load material into machine and monitor the machining process.
- Make necessary tooling adjustments to maintain print dimensions and required surface finishes.
- Perform visual and physical inspection of product by using necessary measuring equipment including: calipers, micrometers and pi tape.
- Cleans and provides routine preventative maintenance on equipment and surrounding area.
- Meet production deadlines and be flexible and responsive to changing demands.
- Must possess basic computer and math skills
- Perform routine maintenance on machine
Desired Skills and Experience.
- Knowledge of G & M codes
- Haas / Fanuc control experience a plus
- Experience with writing and editing CNC programming
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with machining plastics a plus
- 1-3 years CNC experience preferred but willing to train
