Staff Accountant

Working under close supervision, staff accountants are provided the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, both in the tax and auditing practices of public accounting. Staff assignments are specifically designed to provide a broad and diversified work experience. Responsibilities are broad. Staff are not restricted to limited tasks, situations, or a narrow range of clientele; instead, staff accountants are provided opportunities to become acquainted with various clients. Although their work is supervised, staff must be familiar with auditing and accounting procedures and taxation.

Qualifications - Must be a senior or graduate student with a concentration in accounting, finance, or an adjacent field.

Attributes / Competencies - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Receptive to feedback and coaching. Detail-oriented.
