Position Overview
E-Safe Partners is seeking a motivated and tech-curious Managed Services Intern to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a trusted Managed IT and Cybersecurity provider with over 35 years of experience serving small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), we simplify IT, strengthen security, and power business growth for our clients.
This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. You’ll support our team in delivering proactive IT support, monitoring client environments, and helping businesses stay secure and operational. It’s an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills in IT operations, cybersecurity, and client service while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with 24/7 monitoring and support of client IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve basic to intermediate technical issues for clients using tools like Microsoft 365, Sophos, Fortinet, and other enterprise solutions.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, such as threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance tasks.
- Participate in client onboarding, system documentation, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with our team on cloud migrations, data backups, disaster recovery planning, and infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to internal projects and learn about vCIO (virtual Chief Information Officer) strategies that align IT with business goals.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and team members.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking, Windows/Microsoft environments, and troubleshooting concepts (prior experience is a plus but not required).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for a part-time or full-time internship (flexible based on school schedule).
