Position Type: Federal Work Study Only

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • As a content creator, you will develop social media content for Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter).
  • These posts will be featured on the social media platforms for Detroit Mercy Admissions (@GoDetroitMercy).
  • Employees will take photos at campus events, stage photoshoots, record videos and create designs using Canva or a similar platform.
  • This position is asynchronous and remote, so content creators need to be self-motivated and able to successfully work on a flexible schedule.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience creating social media content for personal or professional purposes.
  • Strong writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design experience using Canva or Adobe.
  • Video editing experience using CapCut or a similar platform.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • Asynchronous and remote.
