URec Team Member Recreation

Position Type: Federal Work Study And Non Work Study

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• URec Team Member will work in all areas of the recreation department including but not limited to the front desk, fitness floor, Tommy’s smoothie bar, intramurals, events and on weekends.
• Provide customer service.
• Clean facility, machines, equipment, etc.
• Monitor fitness spaces and recreational areas.
• Make smoothies, snacks, and other items available at Tommy’s.
• Handle cash transactions at Tommy’s and the Front Desk.
• Set up/tear down tables, chairs, carpet tiles, etc. for events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of programs and services offered by the Recreation Department.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in sports or recreational activities.
• Possess good conflict resolution skills.
• A genuine interest in serving students.
• Available to work in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
