University Ministry Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Baker: Student able and willing to bake home-baked cookies and treats for office student hospitality once a week (In residence halls or at home to bring to University Ministry Office)
- General Office Duties: Greet and welcome guests/visitors to the office offering basic hospitality (coffee, tea, cocoa etc.)
- Professionally respond to ministry emails and phone calls.
- Creating and posting marketing flyers for all events and programs.
- Regularly updating ministry chalkboards and digital monitors.
- Daily cleaning of the University Ministry lobby and all University Ministry spaces (chapels, meeting rooms etc.)
- Organizing the office storage spaces.
- Supporting tabling efforts for the office.
- Research and supporting preparations for all University Ministry programs and events.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience or willingness to learn Canva, Microsoft/Teams.
- Experience baking cookies (or other baked goods).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (if any):
- Welcoming and cheerful personality.
- Good organizer.
- Creativity with marketing material.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40lb.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graphic design and/or Canva experience.
Anticipated Schedule:
- 8-10 hrs/week (M-F 9:30-5pm)
