Holy Trinity is seeking a full-time Faith Formation Coordinator.

POSITION TITLE:  Faith Formation Coordinator

REPORTS TO:  Pastor

NORMAL HOURS:  Full Time non-exempt, 35 hours per week, weekend hours required.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Serves under the supervision and direction of the Pastor for a full range of pre-adolescent Faith Formation functions, including planning, overseeing, and administration of pre-adolescent religious education, sacramental preparation, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, and Vacation Bible School

PAY RANGE: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant should be certified as a Catechetical Leader or work to attain certification, but preferably have a master’s degree in Education, Pastoral Ministry, and/or Religious Education. Prior experience in a parish setting preferred. Willingness to further his/her education as required.
  • A deep understanding of youth culture and the role the Catholic Church plays in the world of our youth.
  • Must possess organizational and management skills.
  • Proficient in usage and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital learning platforms and portals.
  • Applicant should be able to lead and motivate youth and work collaboratively with parents and other staff members.
  • Active member of a Roman Catholic Parish Community.
