Social Media Assistant Finance

Position Type:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Highly creative and self-motivated Social Media coordinator to elevate the Center's presence and promote our programs.
  • Maintain ongoing social media presence on Center's IG account and supervisor's LinkedIn Create content, posted twice weekly, to showcase Center programs and student participation.
  • Maintain record of all posts and postings.
  • Measure success of posts. Identify new post topics for approval.
  • Maintain photos and all links in a secure place for access by Director.
  • Issue and maintain media authorizations as needed Promote Center activities via social media links.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated creative vision and content generation.
  • Able to independently brainstorm, develop and execute innovative ideas and campaigns  to promote Center programs and engage diverse audiences.
  • Mastery in design and presentation platforms - specifically CANVA, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Power Point)
  • Design multi-format digital assets (graphics, flyers, slide decks and short form media.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (if any):

  • Understanding of social medial platform best practices and current design principles for digital content.
  • Proficiency in using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint as well as content creation.
  • Ability to independently generate original ideals, translate program concepts into engaging campaigns, and manage multiple projects effectively.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week - hybrid -mostly remote
