Product Engineer Trainee

The product engineering position at Keystone RV allows you to use your creativity as well as your engineering skills to create new models and enhance our product lines. We are a leading manufacturer of towable recreational vehicles, in an industry that is rapidly evolving, with new technology being added to our products daily. Product engineers at our company create and oversee individual brands from raw frame design through finished product details, no aspect of the product are you not intricately involved in. In some industries you might spend your entire career designing door handles, but in ours you design a completed consumer product and work directly with the brand manager, purchasing, and production to make it happen. You spend time on the production line overseeing and answering questions on prototype builds from line workers, you specify parts to our purchasing team, and you work directly with the brand manager to design and develop new models, you troubleshoot problems. It's a very rewarding experience to see something you've engineered and designed be assembled on the production line. Before all that though, we prepare you for this job by putting you through a comprehensive training program we've developed specifically for graduating engineers new to our industry.

Once trainees has successfully mastered the skills necessary to do the job they are ready for product engineer responsibility (4-6 months). At that time your training concludes and you are automatically promoted to a product engineer position that also involves a pay increase.
