🤖 THE PROJECT

Join Dubai Future Labs to design, fabricate and test a locomotion subsystem for a Cable-Driven Parallel Robot (CDPR).

The project focuses on developing a robotic locomotion system capable of securely attaching to and detaching from a defined surface, with potential for future multi-robot coordination.

🔧 WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Define engineering requirements
• Develop and evaluate mechanical design concepts
• Select hardware and components
• Perform engineering calculations and mechanical analysis
• Develop detailed CAD designs
• Apply DFM, DFA & Design for Strength principles
• Fabricate and assemble a working prototype
• Design and conduct experiments
• Test, validate and improve the subsystem
• Document findings and present the final prototype
