Detroit Mercy Ambassador
Wage $13.00 hourly ($16.00 during Summer)
A Detroit Mercy Ambassador is a leader that influences the Titan Experience for past, present, and future Titans. They share their student experience as they development their intellectual, spiritual, ethical, and social growth within the University of Detroit Mercy in the urban setting of the city of Detroit. These students embody a positive and enthusiastic Titan spirit while also being knowledgeable about Detroit Mercy’s amenities and resources. Detroit Mercy Ambassadors provide walking tours of the main campus to prospective students, parents, and visitors.
Our tour guides and tours are the first experience prospective students have when they visit Detroit Mercy, and here in Admissions, we are Go Detroit Mercy! We run tours 5 days a week, so there is plenty of room for shift times during normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm (8:30 – 4:30pm in the Summer) and some Saturdays. Paid training is available. - Giving tours to prospective students and schools
- Provide Administrative support for the office of Admissions
- Work group visits and other Admissions events
- Assisting staff with other projects as needed
