Assistant, Institute of Leadership and Service

Position Type: Federal Work Study or Non-Work Study 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Coordinate the work of the Food Secure Neighborhood project.
  • Assist in the development of a new project(s)
  • Oversee campus garden operations.
  • Oversee Princeton Street produce deliveries.
  • Assist Director of Community Engaged Learning in coordinating fundraising events.

 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing the work of college students.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated. 
  • Passion for food justice and environmental sustainability.

 

Anticipated Schedule:

  • 10 to 20 hours a week.
