Graduate Research Assistant, CHP Health Services Administration
Position Type: Federal Work Study only
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Liaison with Student Project Teams: Work closely with student teams to understand their technical needs, ensuring the solutions developed meet the project's requirements and standards.
- Design and Develop Solutions: Apply your knowledge in AI and ML to design and develop effective technology solutions. Be proactive in offering innovative and practical approaches to problem-solving.
- Project Management and Quality Assurance: Oversee various projects from concept to completion, focusing on quality, innovation, and adherence to requirements. Play a pivotal role in ensuring the student teams' outputs align with the set goals.
- Continuous Learning and Research: Stay updated with the latest trends in AL, ML, and other emerging technologies. Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the Center's research and development initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a current graduate student in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at the University of Detroit Mercy.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in AL, ML, and application development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and adaptability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with student teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Anticipated Schedule:
- 5- 8 hours per week.
