Position Type: Federal Work Study and Non-Work Study 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Conduct research in the following topic "Machine Learning Algorithms for Medical Imaging and Diagnostics" under supervision of Dr. Nafea.
  • Assist with Dr. Nafea's research, particularly, with general research-related tasks including but not limited to literature review, data collection, coding, etc.
  • Assist with research activities and research agenda of Dr. Nafea's research group, including Website updates, scheduling and organization, etc.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Students have finished their bachelor studies with GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Student has skills in coding in Python, or C++
  • Student has strong mathematical and analytical background
  • Student has strong backgro

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in computer and tech applications, operating systems, and web development background

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent on campus (in-person) meetings -- 2 to 3 times a week

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • 10hrs/week
