Clinical Social Worker 9-P11 - Shawono

Position will serve as a professional in the capacity of a Licensed Masters Level Social Worker who will conduct therapeutic services for adolescents and their families at Shawono Center. The position will serve as providing individual and group therapy to youth in a maximum secure residential facility focusing on treatment and provide recommendations appropriate to each individuals treatment needs. The Licensed MSW Clinical Social Working will work collaboratively with community and agency professionals. Collaborates with staff and team members (Director, Youth Residential Director, Group Leaders, Teachers, Youth Specialist Supervisors, and Youth Specialists). Identifies, locates, schedules, performs, and/or attends training for facility staff.

Possession of a master's degree in social work.

Experience

Clinical Social Worker 9
No specific type or amount is required.

Clinical Social Worker 10
One year of professional experience providing social casework and treatment services in a clinical setting equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker 9.

Clinical Social Worker P11
Two years of professional experience providing social casework and treatment services in a clinical setting equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker, including one year equivalent to a Clinical Social Worker 10.

Selective Position Requirements (SPR): Possession of a license as a full master's social worker in Michigan.
