Social Media Assistant, CCPD

Position Type: Federal Work Study Only

Social Media & Promotions Assistant, CCPD will perform a variety of tasks, including managing CCPD social media channels, generating and publishing content, and thinking of new social media strategies. The ideal candidate will be open to learning new skills, good at listening and following instructions, and excited about promoting career opportunities to their peers. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manage CCPD social media channels.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages our followers to take action.
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Manage social media communications.
  • Create flyers for upcoming events and post around campus.
  • Attend CCPD events, take candid photos and share on social media platforms.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms.
  • Basic capability to take photos with cellphone camera.
  • Can work well independently and in a team setting.
  • Film, edit and produce creative videos.
  • Edit photos, graphics and flyers.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be eligible for Work Study and submit resume to be considered for this position.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • M-F; 10:00am - 5:00pm
