The DWS Internship is an opportunity to gain a wide range of practical experience. Individual projects, participation in speaker sessions and networking events will all be part of the internship. Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. program the following year.
About the Americas Client Coverage Division
The Client Coverage Division in the Americas represents EUR 212bn of assets under management (as of 30 June 2024). We are the face to existing and prospective clients across the United States, Canada and Latin America. We service two primary segments of clients: Institutional and Wealth Advisors.
Our role is threefold:
- Deliver the best of DWS’ products, services and thought leadership experts to our clients
- Partner with them for sophisticated solutions to asset allocations and capital needs
- Provide worldclass service.
Institutional clients consist of Asset Allocators (such as on those who allocate on behalf of pension plans, endowments and foundations), insurance companies and corporations. Wealth Advisors consist of Broker Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors who function as Wealth Advisors for retail investors.
We also partner closely with Institutional Investment Consultant firms who are often integral to the diligence process of our client base. We operate as a fiduciary to our clients. We have a solutions-oriented mindset. As a Client Coverage Intern you will:
- Learn to utilize the client relationship management tool (Salesforce) for client and opportunity management, marketing campaigns, prospect updates, and target strategies.
- Collaborate with the Wholesale and Institutional leadership and sales teams.
- Profile prospects for roadshows, conferences, or general outreach.
- Ensure compliance with DWS Policies and Procedures.
- Work on ad-hoc projects to support sales and management teams, as requested.
What we are looking for:
- Must hold valid right to work in the US from June 2nd – August 8th, 2025.
- Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 3 days per week in the office) from June 2nd – August 8th, 2025.
- Must be enrolled and on track to graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2026.
- Must possess less than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience (excluding other internships).
- Someone with a keen interest in financial markets and services.
- A team player with a curious mind.
- Proactive individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
