Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the DWS Graduate P.A.C.E. program the following year.
About the DWS Product Specialists, Development Team
As part of the global DWS Product Division, our Product Specialist teams represent the center of competence for delivering the right products and solutions to our clients. This requires us to be experts in our respective asset classes and client segments, to adequately represent our portfolio teams in front of clients.
In this function, we act as intersection between our sales teams and the portfolio managers. In addition, we aspire to be innovators across the value chain which entails the launch of new products & solutions, pricing optimizations and being on the road to discuss with clients and distribution partners their individual investment needs.
Additionally, our Product Trends team focuses on a streamlined approach to identifying market opportunities for global DWS products, leading to a defined product strategy and ambitions. Therefore, Product Trends centers on trends and signals identification, capability assessment, and prioritization.
As a Product Specialist Intern, you will:
- Become an integral part of our team with clear responsibilities and room to learn and grow.
- Expand your knowledge about capital markets by working side-by-side with our portfolio managers and sales colleagues.
- Deepen your understanding of Active portfolio management strategies and learn how we can address the challenges our clients are facing in various market phases.
- Support the preparation of institutional client pitches as well as roadshows for retail distribution partners.
- Become involved in cross-divisional initiatives to steadily enhance our offering.
We’re looking for:
- Must hold valid right to work in the US from June 2nd – August 8th, 2025.
- Must be available to work full-time (including a minimum of 3 days per week in the office) from June 2nd – August 8th, 2025.
- Must be enrolled and on track to graduate from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in 2026.
- Must possess less than 12 months of full-time, relevant work experience (excluding other internships).
- A team player with a curious mind, who is passionate about financial markets and portfolio strategies.
- Strong skills in MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
