Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and update marketing materials for the pantry.
  • Continuously interact with pantry users.
  • Actively look for ways to positively impact students at Detroit Mercy.
  • Inform people about the pantry and food insecurity.
  • Update pantry website and social media accounts.
  • Create flyers and publicize events.
  • Reach out to on- and off-campus media outlets.
  • Respond to inquiries about the pantry.

 

Requirements

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled full time students.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Put the interests of the Detroit Mercy's Pantry before your personal and professional interests when acting on behalf of the organization in a decision-making capacity.
  • Complete mandatory training and leadership training.
  • Make serious commitment to participate actively in work.
  • Volunteers and willingly accepts assignments and completes them thoroughly and on time.

Anticipated Schedule:

  • 10, Mon - Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
