Medical Assistant Position for Pre-Health Student

The Florida Center for Urogynecology is a unique medical office in Hollywood Florida, focusing on routine and specialty care and gynecology. The office now has a paid part-time position available for a pre-health student, ideally someone pursuing physician assistant school, medical school, or a nursing degree. This position will allow a student to gain experience in a medical office with exposure to patient care, electronic medical record systems, medical terminology, office procedures, sterilization techniques, venipuncture, and other real world work experience. This will also enable  students to obtain hours/experience for their application. Successful employees will be able to receive a letter of recommendation.

They should include a cover letter which details any relevant experience and relevant courses completed or in progress. Applicants available at least 12 hours per week and available to work Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Fridays from 8 AM to 1:30 PM will be given preference. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Full-time positions with benefits will also be considered for those graduating in 2025 and who plan to take a gap year.
