Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

The ECECS department is looking to fill ONE teaching assistant position for CSSE 4440/5440 - Web Technology. The TA will primarily assist the instructor by grading assignments, projects, and exams in the class. 

  • The primary responsibilities include
  • Evaluate assignments, quizzes, and exams assigned by the instructor.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students during evaluation
  • Ensure timely grading and follow grading rubrics and policies.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the course instructor to discuss grading and student progress.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Students MUST be in ECECS major and have prior experience with front-end and back-end web programming.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • HTML, CSS, JS, NodeJS, MongoDB.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to students who taken and performed well in CSSE 4440/5440 at the university at a prior semester.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • 70 hours total ~5 hours/ week
