
Planning & Cost Control Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning with management, helping to establish the baseline for economic and work monitoring.
- Help create procedures to measure and monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with the applicable methodology.
- Monitor project progress, detecting deviations and assisting in calculating completion dates.
- Collaborate in defining preventive and/or corrective actions considering contractor/subcontractor schedules.
- Support construction and contracting teams in creating schedules and progress reports.
- Assist in managing project changes to minimize their impact on the overall schedule.
- Collaborate in overseeing and validating third-party schedules to ensure project objectives are met.
- Support the management team in updating the final cost estimate for the project.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar roles (internships or academic projects will be considered).
- Intermediate level of English.
- Resolute, organized, and dynamic person who enjoys teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of tools like Primavera P6 and advanced Excel.
- Basic knowledge in construction project management and control: scope, planning, changes, purchases, negotiations, risks, stakeholders, etc.
- Availability to travel.
