Spurwink|ri is an established non-profit, (originated in 1982) human service agency providing adult services, special education, and supported employment services through our Voclinks community-based day program. The mission of spurwink|ri is to assist children and adults with disabilities in pursuing social, educational, vocational and other life enhancing opportunities.

As a DSP, you will directly support individuals with developmental disabilities in identifying and achieving life goals. Our service includes 24 hour residential care, supported living, and supported employment.

REQUIREMENTS OF STAFF:

  • CPR/Crisis Management (training provided)
  • Communication skills - written and verbal
  • Attention to medical concerns- to help support Clinical and Nursing Team
  • Belief in improving quality of life for resident
  • Patience

Additional requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • VALID Driver's license, auto insurance, auto registration
  • Must be able to pass National BCI, fingerprinting, MVH and E-Verify
  • Must have use of a vehicle
