Compensation: RN – $1,200 | EMT – $1,000 | LVN/LPN – $825 | CNA – $500 (Includes housing and meals)

About the Role

Are you a nursing or health sciences student or a certified healthcare professional looking to make a difference this summer?
Join us at Camp Arc, a week-long overnight summer camp for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You'll work alongside another licensed healthcare professional to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our campers and staff.

This role is ideal for students in nursing, public health, EMT programs, or allied health fields—and a great experience to add to your résumé!

Key Responsibilities

Provide emergency and non-emergency care to campers and counselors

Review camper medical files and verify prescription medications

Safely store and administer medications (prescription, non-prescription, and PRNs)

Maintain digital medication administration records (eMARs)

Deliver first aid and manage minor illnesses/injuries

Support in coordinating emergency services, if needed

Provide basic health and safety training to counselors before campers arrive

Qualifications

Must hold current certification or licensure as RN, LVN/LPN, EMT, or CNA

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Strong communication and organization skills

Able to remain calm and respond quickly in emergencies

Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus—but not required

Stipend (based on credentials):

RN: $1,200
