Duration: June - August (with possibility for extension)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week
Compensation: $500 stipend upon completion, option for school credit

Internship Description:
We are seeking a creative and passionate individual to join our team as a Social Media and Marketing Intern. In this role, you will work closely with Amala Foundation to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive awareness of our mission and services.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) that reflects the unique identities of Sanctuary Events and the Amala Foundation.
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels.
- Assist in managing Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads and content management systems .
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Previous experience in social media management or marketing is a plus.
Supervision:
- The social media intern at Amala Foundation will receive consistent mentorship and constructive feedback from Norma Ventura, Brand Marketing Strategist, to support their professional growth and ensure the success of the foundation's social media initiatives.
- The intern will also have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feedback on the supervision process to ensure a mutually beneficial working relationship.
Through this structured supervision and feedback process, the social media intern will gain valuable insights and experience, contributing effectively to Amala Foundation’s mission and outreach efforts.
