Therapist - Wraparound

As the Therapist on the team, you will play a vital role in supporting youth and families with complex and enduring needs through a culturally-responsive, team-based approach. You will provide individualized mental health services and case management with a focus on enhancing safety, placement stability, and overall well-being. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, meeting with clients and families for individual and family therapy, maintaining accurate documentation, and being available for crisis intervention as needed.

 

ABOUT WRAPAROUND 

Seneca’s Wraparound program in Santa Clara County provides culturally-sensitive, highly-coordinated intensive services to youth and families with complex and enduring needs. Through a team and strengths-based approach, the mental health supports focus on enhancing safety, placement stability, and well-being. Wraparound works in close partnership with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health and Post-Adoption services to provide outcome-oriented services aimed to keep youth in their homes and community. Wraparound serves racially and ethnically diverse youth and families regardless of, but not limited to, their socio-economic circumstance, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and religion.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities.
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support
  • Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed
  • Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan
  • Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as weas casework issues, as appropriate
  • Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation, if applicable
  • Participate in individual and/or group supervision
  • Attend all required trainings

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

REQUIRED 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
  • Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekend hours as needed
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements

PREFERRED  

  • Experience providing strong behavioral interventions with youth in community-based setting
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, crisis response, and child/adolescent development
  • Bilingual Spanish skill set

 

 SCHEDULE

  • Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6pm
  • Flexible schedule required with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours as needed

  • Starting at $84,872 - $98,872 per year, commensurate rate with experience
    • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
    • Additional compensation upon pass the bilingual language proficiency exam
